Choirs

Love to sing but not exactly a soloist? Even if you cannot read music we welcome all who love to sing and worship together. The choir sings 2-3 times each month and is seen not as just a performance group but worship leaders in the house of God. What a great way to make friends and encourage one another. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the choir room. A commitment of a year is requested.

Children’s Choir

The children’s choir performs in occasional services throughout the year as well as with the adult choir at Christmas and a special musical production near the spring. This group meets on Wednesday nights with 1-4 graders at 6:00pm and 5-6 graders at 6:30pm.

Worship Vocalists

Helping in the worship every Sunday is a group of 2-3 singers on microphones who are comfortable in front of a crowd and with singing possible harmonies. To be a part of this group it is expected that you would also sing in the choir. A commitment of a year is requested.

Orchestra and Instrumental Ensembles

This larger group of instrumentalists plays for special holidays and events. Made up of brass, woodwind, and strings, the orchestra enhances worship and gives variety. Please let us know if you are interested in playing your instrument either as a part of the orchestra or a small instrumental ensemble.

Drama and other Performing Arts

With a long history of dramatic and musical presentations at Faith Presbyterian, we would like to rekindle the use of drama, dance, and other performing arts to be used either in Sunday morning worship or in a variety of other special productions.

Décor & Other Visual Arts

Are you a painter, sculptor, photographer, seamstress, set construction, or just have a flair for creating the right mood in a room? There is a place for you to use your talents. Let us know if you have a desire to express your love for the Lord in other artistic ways.

Technical Arts

Operation of the sound, lighting, and projection system is crucial to the worship services at Faith Pres. If you are comfortable with technical equipment and have an ear for music and sound please consider using your gifts in this area.
