Fellowship, Adventure and Learning
for Adults in Mid-Life and Beyond!

Who We Are: We are Faith Church members and friends who are mid-life and beyond (second half of life—there is NO age limit!) who are rooted and grounded in the Christian faith. We are curious, fun-loving, adventuresome, free to explore, desirous of travel experiences, holders of many interests. We like learning, seek enrichment, enjoy friends and growing in faith!

Our Purpose: To provide group activities characterized by Christian fellowship, spiritual growth, learning, recreation, travel, laughter, enjoyment and service.

Activities: A wide variety of activities is scheduled throughout each calendar year. They are based on suggestions from our members who participate as much or as little as they desire. Events take place at Faith Church, within the local community, and throughout Minnesota and the USA. Activities are consistent with Christian beliefs. There are no dues, just voluntary contributions for general expenses. Each activity is expected to generate its own income and to cover immediate expenses as well as residual income sufficient to cover related office expenses.

Events we have enjoyed so far in 2013:

On Wednesday, February 27, we enjoyed a trip to the Science Museum in St. Paul to view the film, Tornado Alley and to see the new BodyWorks exhibit. Then we headed to Cafe Latte for a treat of our choosing (on our own)! Our bus departed from Faith church at 11:30 am and returned at approximately 5:00 pm The per-person cost for the bus, the museum, theater, and special exhibit was $32. Mary Erickson handled arrangements.

We experienced the “All Things New” Easter production at North Heights Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 23, 2013. We left Faith Church at noon for the 1:00 pm performance, had a buffet meal at North Heights Church after the performance, and returned to Faith by approximately 4:30 pm. The per-person cost for the performance, buffet meal, and bus was $66. Barbara Aumann made the arrangements.

We regret that the “Nerstrand Woods event” had to be cancelled. With the late arrival of spring, the wildflowers we had hoped to enjoy were not yet in bloom. On Friday, May 3 we had planned enjoy a spring day exploring Nerstrand Woods with our guide, Stan Tekiela, who has enlightened and entertained us on previous nature trips. Early spring reveals a wonderful variety of plants and flowers that only are on display before the full tree canopy emerges. It was to be a “bring your own lunch” with dessert and beverages provided. Transportation was to be included. Contact Gordy Aumann handled the arrangements.
