THANK YOU for participating in Operation Christmas Child for 2011. Because of your efforts 109 shoeboxes are now on their way to children in India. In the Operation Christmas Child project of Samaritans Purse, people have the opportunity to pack a shoebox full of small gifts, designate whether the box is for a boy or a girl, and specify the appropriate age range (2-4, 5-9, or 10-14) for the recipient. Suggestions for types of items you might wish to include are provided.

You may also add a note for the child and your picture, if you would like to. Samaritans Purse encourages you to pray for the recipient of your gift. A child will receive the gift box just as you have packed it, along with a booklet written in the recipient’s language that tells about God’s gift of Jesus. Detailed instructions are provided before the shoebox collection week each November.
