Our guest speaker for that special event will be Dr. Daniel Gurtner, Assistant Professor of New Testament at Bethel Seminary. Doctor Gurtner will help us to better understand the Bible and what it teaches us by speaking about the two areas of biblical authority and biblical interpretation with the topic “Living with Scripture: Building a Biblical Foundation.” This teaching will be followed by a time of discussion with Dr. Gurtner.

Dr. Gurtner has authored nearly 50 articles and reviews in 15 academic journals as well as writing a number of books, including “background” commentaries on seven New Testament books. He joined the faculty of Bethel Seminary in 2005, following a year of post-doctoral research at Tyndale House in Cambridge, England.
