1. On Sundays May 8 and May 15, the congregation will learn about Renewing Faith and will be invited to select an “Action Plan” project to be involved with.
On Sunday May 8, the congregation will receive a summary of the Renewing Faith report and a list of “Action Plans” for our church that have been selected for Phase I of Renewing Faith. On Sunday May 15, during the 9:00 am Adult Discipleship hour there will be a Q&A time to address any questions people may have. After worship, there will be an opportunity for everyone to sign up to be involved in a specific way on a specific project of your choice.

2. Committee assignments for new elders were announced.
These new elders will begin their terms of service on session in May with the following tentative committee assignments:
Eric Swanson: Family Ministries
Betty Swanson: Nominating Committee
Stan Kintigh: Membership
Joe Klein: Personnel
Cristina Earley: Missions
Bob Blakesley: Communications

3. Discussion about the upcoming July 2011-June 2012 fiscal year budget was conducted.
Our transitional 6-month fiscal year ends June 30. The session heard reports about options to consider and made some preliminary decisions about how the budget will be set up for the first 12-month fiscal year that will coincide with the church program year and will run from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.
