“Renewing Faith”
What is RENEWING FAITH?
Building on the “Vision” and “Values” we already had and on the report from the Short and Long Range Study Committee, the Session worked with a consultant to learn a planning and implementation process that we hope will serve us well many years into the future. RENEWING FAITH is the name of this process for purposefully fulfilling the mission we believe God has given us as a congregation.

Short and Long Range Study Committee Final Report
Who is on the RENEWING FAITH planning team?
The Session is leading the process as the congregation and church staff work together to implement the plans. Reviewing progress is a part of the agenda of every Session meeting.
Who was our consultant?
The consultant selected by the Session to teach us the planning and implementation process was Dr. Mark McCloskey, Professor of Ministry Leadership and Lead Faculty, Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership at Bethel Seminary. He is a consultant and workshop leader in strategic planning, leadership development and team building. He has worked as a pastor and has helped churches through times of transition. He not only led us as we determined the steps for Phase I of RENEWING FAITH, but also taught us a process that we are continuing to use at every Session meeting so that we are always purposefully working toward fulfilling the mission we believe God has given to our congregation.
What has happened so far?
The Session presented its Renewing Faith Report in April 2011. You can click HERE to read the Executive Summary or click below to read the full report.

What are we doing now?
We are in the process of implementing a number of “Action Plans” to move us forward in fulfilling our mission. Click HERE to see a list of these plans. We invite you to prayerfully consider how God is calling you to be involved.

Please also continue to pray for this process; that God would continue to work powerfully in our church—that we might be faithful to Him and be a blessing to one another and to the community around us.
