Faith Church Cemetery
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Faith Cemetery is a private cemetery which was established in 1887. It is governed by the Faith Presbyterian Church Cemetery Board of Trustees, with oversight of the Church Session.
The Faith Church Cemetery Handbook includes the Articles of Incorporation, By-laws, and Policies of Operation. Please contact the church office or a cemetery trustee to receive a copy.
In 1887, Frank Bren gave land for the church building and cemetery. Church leaders asked him if he was willing to sell or donate this prime real estate located on a hill. He gifted it! The Church was organized as the Bohemian Evangelical Church of Deep Haven Junction. In 1900, the congregation became Presbyterian and was renamed the Bohemian Presbyterian Church. In 1939, the Bohemian Presbyterian Church was renamed the John Hus Presbyterian Church. In 1968 the Glen Lake Presbyterian Church and the John Hus Church merged, and the congregation was named Faith Presbyterian Church.
Both standard plots and cremorial plots are available. For current costs and fees, please talk with a Faith Cemetery trustee.
