All children 12 and under wishing to try out should come prepared to sing the song “Tomorrow” and read from the script. All others will be asked to sing a song of your choosing from the show and read from the script. All children and young adults will be asked to follow some simple choreography for a “movement” audition. Call back will be held on Friday April 20 only if necessary.

Faith Community Theater began in 2010 with the production of “Bye, Bye Birdie.” The goal of Faith Community Theater is to be more connected to the community around us while at the same time, building a stronger sense of community within Faith Church.

Steve Zehr, who is Director of Music Ministries at Faith Church, is the Director of Faith Community Theater. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Music Education. Steve has been directing and performing in professional, semi-professional, and community theater for 25 years. In addition, he has served as a teacher of drama and chorus at a private school in Florida, has been seen on several regional TV ads, and has been a soloist on several US and Canadian national television programs. Steve is most proud of being the husband of his incredible wife Susan and father of two wonderful daughters, Heather and Kate.
