Finding Hope and Healing (Grief Support)…July 9
“Finding Hope and Healing” Grief Support Group meets at Faith the second Tuesday of every month from 10:00-11:30 am in room 120.
While we cannot do your grieving for you—or you for us—we can support each other as friends able to share and understand your life’s journey.
How do we keep on going when someone we love dies? We need not walk alone on this path.
There is no recommended length of time for someone to be part of this group. You may choose to come every month for as long as you find the time together to be helpful. You may choose to come only once or twice a year during a time of year that is especially hard for you—perhaps around an anniversary date or the holiday season. Your grief may be fresh or your loss may have been many years ago. It doesn’t matter how long it has been or how often you come. If an opportunity to share with others who care, listen to others as friends, and receive some words of hope and encouragement from Scripture might provide some support as you walk the path before you, we warmly welcome you to participate. You do not have to be from Faith Church to attend, so you may want to let a friend or neighbor know about this opportunity.
Contact Kathy terSteeg for more information, either at home or in the church office (on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) 612-315-6244 (direct dial to office) or by email using the form below.
