Men’s Ministry

It is the mission of this ministry to help bring men into closer community with Jesus Christ and each other. Key activities are fellowship, study and service.

Fellowship – Men’s Ministry Breakfasts are held periodically from 8:00-9:30 am in Faith Hall. These events feature fellowship, food, worship and a speaker or a testimony by one of our members. Watch for notices in the Sunday bulletin and Faith in Action.

Study – Men’s Ministry encourages all men to participate in a small group study. Currently there are over 15 active men’s study/renewal groups. For more information about joining a small group see one of the Men’s Ministry Task Force members or Pastor Buck Day.

Service – Men’s Ministry supports this church and the community through participation in activities such as Urban HomeWorks, Donut Ministry, and others. After raising the funds, at the February 2013 meeting we worked with men from Life Rebuilders to put together 75 “Welcome Home Bags,” which are duffle bags filled with personal items, such as socks, towels, a watch, a Bible, etc. These are gifts for men who have just been released from prison who are choosing to live in a Christian environment while they begin to rebuild their lives and relationships through Jesus Christ at Life Rebuilders.
