SUMMER 2009
Wednesday nights 7:00 p.m.
Beth Moore study of Esther
Elma Hamersma
This is an in-depth and very personal examination of the book of Esther; a story of threat and deliverance. If you have ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it is tough today. Beth peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to us. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried harried and pressured world. Ten weeks.

Sunday nights 5:30-8:00 p.m.
The Marriage Course (This 8-week class was offered twice)

This eight week gathering is for all couples young and old, strong marriages and struggling marriages. It starts with a nice dinner at tables separated from other couples (so you can talk in private) and it continues with video and discussion time privately with your spouse. Cost $50 for materials and free-will donation for dinner.
Tuesday nights 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Beth Moore study: “A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place!”

Spring 2010 Special Event

Wed, April 7, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m, “Sharing a Credible Witness in the New Century”: An evening with Dr. David Clark, Provost of Bethel University.
Do you ever wonder why the world so quickly dismisses the gospel? It can seem very difficult to have a conversation about your faith even with your friends. What is going on in the world today? Join the discussion with Dr. David Clark. Provost of Bethel University. Dr. Clark returns to Faith Church to help us think about what kinds of influences are at work in our world to discredit Christianity and how we can be faithful to Christ without alienating the world.
NEW! “Discovery”
Sun, April 18 – May 23, 2010
Immediately following our regular Sunday morning Celebration Worship Service, we enjoyed “Discovery,” a new experience that focused each week on a different attribute of who God has revealed himself to be. Discovery was held 11:15-11:45 a.m. in Faith Hall. The weekly topics were “God of Miracles,” “God the Creator,” “God the Healer,” “God the Provider,” “God is Sovereign” and “God is Holy.” Discovery is not a worship service, but is a special opportunity to grow in our knowledge and experience of God through multi-media presentations, reading and reflection on Scripture, personal testimonies, dramatic readings, prayer and song.
